1. What are your favorite TV shows ever?
My favorite series are Sherlock, Game of Thrones, and Homeland.
2. What to you think are the essential ingredients of a series for it to be a success?
A solid plot structure together with a detailed character development. Having a proper ending is also very important. No one likes loose ends! ????♀️
3. The Streaming Era has finally arrived and there’s no denying it. We’re facing a new peak in the era of multimedia engagement, and a wide range of content is being offered. Are you subscribed to any streaming service? If you use more than one, how are they different?
I only have a Netflix’s membership for the moment.
4. During the lockdown, what series did you binge-watch?
I saw plenty of series during lockdown: Peaky Blinders, Narcos, The Crown, Money Heist, Elite, Source Code, Squid Game, among others. Of course, I saw some movies too! I particularly enjoyed Avatar and Alice in Wonderland, for example.
5. Do you think the pandemic brought about a surge in TV watching and online streaming?Absolutely!
6. Are you into short series or do you prefer long-running series?
I really don’t mind. I guess it depends on the plot and how the characters develop through the show. I’m into both! ????
7. When choosing what to watch, are you a fast picker, or do you like scrolling through the many options the catalog offers?
I’m a fast picker. My choices are usually award-winning series or short-listed in the 10 most popular ones.
8. When someone recommends a series to you, do you usually watch it?
It depends on my relationship with that person. The story must be appealing and catch my eye.
9. When it comes to watching TV shows, do you prefer to go it alone or with other people?
Watching TV shows alone or asynchronous viewing are probably the best options because series require a lot of time.
10. What series would you like to see in the future?
I’m eager to watch the Peaky Blinders newest season six that will release in February, the Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon, and the upcoming seasons of Dexter and Westworld. ????
11. Let’s say that your favorite series releases a new season. Do you binge-watch the entire season, or do you watch it slowly instead and savor each episode?
When I have some free time, I try to watch as much as possible. It is almost impossible not to bump into spoilers! One cannot avoid them forever! ????

The Simpsons, Modern Family, and Friends are my top three TV shows of all time.

The first three chapters must hook me!

I’m currently only using Netflix, although I’d like to test some other streaming services.

Dark, The Innocent, and Explained, a short documentary series, are some of the series I binge-watched during those months.

Yes, most likely. I’m not aware if there’s any research on this matter, but there’s no question in my mind that people spend more time watching TV.

I prefer to scroll through the catalog until I spot something interesting to watch. If somebody recommends a certain show, I’d look for its trailer and start watching it.

I’m afraid I can’t say. Both are great!
10. What series would you like to see in the future?
The Bold Type. My friends strongly recommended it and I still haven’t seen it.

I go for the first option. I binge-watch the entire show in a few hours or days! ????
